We will learn to paint this lovely field of flowers using layers of color in this watercolors class. We will practice correctly loading our brushes with paint using them to control our paint. We will talk about different colors and why they go together. Students will be allowed to choose their own flower colors for this painting. We will discuss how to help the objects pop in our painting. Mainly we will be playing with the paint and exploring the texture techniques we can achieve, with a little color theory.

Students will paint flowers while learning about complimentary colors.

Supply List
Supply list: 8 inch by 10 inch canvas palette paper or foam tray for mixing bowl or water, paper towels, number 12 round brush that comes to a point, palette paper (or foam plate), A set of watercolor paints. We will use white, yellow, orange, red, purple, blue, green, brown and black.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
