Description
Class Experience
We will learn to paint this lovely field of flowers using layers of color in this watercolors class. We will practice correctly loading our brushes with paint using them to control our paint. We will talk about different colors and why they go together. Students will be allowed to choose their own flower colors for this painting. Students will paint flowers while learning about complimentary colors.
I have been painting, and teaching art for over twenty years and am continually inspired by my students' individuality and creativity.
Supply list: 8 inch by 10 inch canvas palette paper or foam tray for mixing bowl or water, paper towels, number 12 round brush that comes to a point, palette paper (or foam plate), A set of watercolor paints. We will use white, yellow, orange, red, purple, blue, green, brown and black.
I will write a brief note to the student after class.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
