Class Description: Feel Good, Live Better – Wellness Group for ADHD Teens What will be taught? This class is designed to help ADHD teens explore their unique strengths, manage emotions, build focus, and embrace self-discovery. Using creative tools like MidJourney’s AI art platform, participants will learn actionable strategies for wellness, self-expression, and personal growth. What topics will you cover? Week 1: Self-awareness and celebrating unique strengths. Week 2: Stress management and emotional regulation. Week 3: Building routines and strategies for focus. Week 4: Empowerment and viewing ADHD as a superpower. How is your class structured? Each session includes: Opening Mindfulness Exercise: A calming activity to help participants center themselves. Topic Discussion: A collaborative exploration of the week's theme. Interactive Creative Project: Teens will use MidJourney to create a personalized art piece that ties into the topic. Group Sharing and Reflection: Participants share their experiences and insights in a supportive environment. Weekly Challenge: Practical take-home tasks to reinforce learning and habits. How will you teach? The class combines guided discussions, interactive activities, and digital art projects to engage participants. Lessons are designed to be ADHD-friendly, using a mix of visual aids, hands-on learning, and structured interactions to maintain focus and interest. What's your teaching style? I use an empathetic, strengths-based approach with plenty of humor and relatability. My teaching style focuses on creating a safe, inclusive space where students feel comfortable expressing themselves. Lessons are interactive and flexible, designed to meet the unique needs of ADHD teens. How much will learners get to interact with you? Students will have multiple opportunities to interact with me and their peers through: Guided Discussions: Open conversations on the week’s topic. Collaborative Art Activities: Real-time guidance as students use MidJourney to create projects. Q&A and Coaching: Individualized feedback and answers to specific questions during each session. Group Sharing: Opportunities to share art, reflections, and experiences in a supportive setting.
