Feel Good Contemporary Dance Class Flex Class (Ages 7-12)
In this 4 week contemporary dance session, learners of all levels will explore the creativity within contemporary dance. Class will include a warm-up, improv prompts, & unique choreography. Learners will leave feeling refreshed & inspired!

Contemporary dance is a free-moving style of dance that nurtures the soul. Anything goes! In my class, students are free to express themselves in a safe space. Students will be introduced to the basics of contemporary movement. The class will be led through a full body warm-up and stretch which will get our bodies ready for class. Next, we will begin a series of unique improvisation prompts that promote inner creativity and exploration. Lastly, we will learn a contemporary dance. Each week...
Some of what we will cover in class: - proper body placement - flexibility exercises - choreography retention and execution - improvisation exercises
Students should have a clear space to dance, free from any hazards. Students may wear soft dance shoes of their preference, or they may choose to go barefoot. Have a full bottle of water handy!
No live meetings, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
This class involves physical activities that require adequate space to move around freely, proper footwear, and plenty of water to stay hydrated. Parental or Guardian supervision is recommended.
