1-2 hours per week. Throughout this course, students will engage in various homework activities designed to reinforce their learning. In Lesson 1, they will interview a family member or friend to get feedback on additional strengths and talents they see in them, documenting this in their workbooks. Lesson 2's homework involves trying a new activity, documenting their feelings before and after, and reflecting on what they learned from the experience. For Lesson 3, students will write about a past victory not discussed in class and how it can help them face current or future challenges. Lesson 4 requires students to reflect on a challenging situation and reframe it with a positive mindset, writing about this in their workbooks. Finally, in Lesson 5, they will evaluate a current friendship to determine if it’s healthy and write about ways to nurture it further.Class Experience

****************************************** COURSE DESCRIPTION ****************************************** Join our "Fearless Against Bullying (FAB): 5-Day Virtual Camp" for an empowering adventure designed for young people aged 10-14! This dynamic camp is crafted to help students build confidence, resilience, and practical strategies to overcome bullying, all while having fun and making new friends. Each day focuses on a specific goal with interactive activities, engaging challenges, and meaningful homework assignments. Using Nearpod and Kahoot, we'll ensure the sessions are lively and enjoyable, and each student will receive a workbook to track their progress and reflections. Students will embrace their strengths, try new things, celebrate past victories, develop a positive mindset, and foster healthy friendships in a supportive virtual environment. By the end of this camp, students will feel empowered, resilient, and ready to stand up against bullying with confidence. Join us for an unforgettable experience where learning meets fun, and everyone walks away a winner! Please Note: In order for this camp to run, there needs to be a minimum of 2 students enrolled. ****************************************** REQUIREMENTS ****************************************** For the best virtual class experience, students should use two devices simultaneously: one for Zoom and the other for Nearpod and Kahoot. Any of the following devices will be appropriate for this lesson: laptop, desktop, tablet, iPad, mobile phone, or MacBook. On Device 1, join the Zoom meeting using the provided link or meeting ID, ensuring the camera and microphone are enabled. On Device 2, access Nearpod through the website or app and enter the unique code provided by the instructor to join the interactive lesson. Students will also use Device 2 to play Kahoot during the session. Before the course starts, download the PDF workbook to complete the activities. If any technical issues arise, notify the instructor via Zoom chat for assistance. This setup will enhance engagement and ensure seamless participation in both the live session and interactive activities.

The camp kicks off with "Strengths Bingo" and self-reflection exercises to help students identify and embrace their unique talents, paired with positive feedback activities to build confidence.

Supply List
For the "Fearless Against Bullying (FAB): 5-Day Virtual Camp," students will need a few supplies to fully participate in the activities and challenges. Each student should have access to a workbook, which will be provided and needs to be downloaded before the start of the camp. They will need pens or pencils for writing and drawing in their workbooks. Additionally, students should have a second device, such as a tablet or mobile phone, for engaging with Nearpod and Kahoot during the sessions. Having a quiet and comfortable space for the virtual sessions is also recommended to help students focus and participate actively.
