Class experience
US Grade 8 - 9
In this book club, we will be discussing books that are consistently chosen as favorites across all my book clubs. These 6 books will be well-liked by most and will spur on an engaging discussion for the students. In this highly interactive class, students will meet over the course of five weeks to discuss a set of acclaimed and engaging literature. Students will come to the book club eager to discuss the novel and are expected to have their cameras on and be ready to actively participate...
Students will become more engaged and critical readers and will be able to confidently share their opinions and thoughts with their peers.
I am an experienced homeschooler who has been leading book clubs for tweens and teens for over ten years. I have a love of literature that I share with my students. I am also experienced with students of all abilities and am patient and respectful towards everyone. I love nurturing a love of learning and reading in my students and feel that my enthusiasm rubs off onto my students which is a joy to see.

These books are all YA/Adult level books and have content that reflects that level. Please look up the books prior to enrolling your student to make sure the choices will be a good match for your student and your family. Kirkus, Goodreads, Amazon, Common Sense Media, and Publishers Weekly are good resources for reviews and recommended ages. I am not responsible for book content.
