Class Experience

Come join us for this fun, interactive, and accepting class! Learners (ages 4-7) will take turns sharing items with the rest of the class. Students will be encouraged to share with positive verbal reinforcement and gentle guiding with questions if needed. The listening learners will practice looking at the speaker, listening actively, and possibly asking questions to the other learner.

Learners should bring two items to class. I will make sure each learner is able to share one item in each class, but there may be time to share a second one. This will depend on the class size.

At the end of every class, I will draw a card to choose the theme for the next class. When new learners sign up, I will do my best to contact the family to let you know what the theme will be for your child's first class. However, if you sign up shortly before class, it's possible I may not be able to contact you first due to time.

Due to the nature of this class, it will be important that each learner can leave his/her camera on during class time.

All learners aged 4-7 are welcome in this class. If your child has special needs, please let me know how I can help make this a great experience for him/her. As a parent of a child with special needs, I strive to help all students feel accepted, capable, and confident.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I am so excited to have your child in class! Together, we will have fun while we explore many topics. I strive to help every learner feel welcome, safe, and accepted. If I can help in any way to make sure your learner is successful in my class, please contact me. As a mom to an amazing autistic daughter, I truly understand the need to feel completely safe and accepted.

I live in the midwest with my daughter and our five pets. There is never a dull moment in our home with a Shih-Tzu, Maltese-Shihtzu, three cats, and a hedgehog!

I look forward to seeing your child in my class soon!
