Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
Students will read information and learn facts about their favorite things. Students will practice recalling new facts. Students will discuss character stories and practice retelling the story.
My background is in Biology, I enjoy studying animals, environment and geology. I have taught ESL online for 7 years and homeschooled my children for 4 years. I enjoy helping them see connections between different classes and to the real world. Previously I taught in a variety of settings from recreational to classrooms. Favorite things class does a wonderful job nurturing students love for learning through studying topics of interest.
Optional: Preview reading before class, come to class with questions or things to share.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
