Class Experience

CLASS OUTLINE

* I will introduce myself and my favorite hugstuffy friend! 
* Learners will introduce themselves and their cuddlestuff character! They love talking about their favorite special buddies!
* Learners will interact with each other, come up with questions to ask each other, and answer questions from other students.

I would like each learner to be prepared to share:

1) Who or what is your favorite plushbuddy cuddlestuff?
2) Does your plushbuddy have a name or nickname?
3) Why do...

Students will:

1) Create a sense of community and belonging with others
2) Learn about other students' favorite plushbuddies and cuddlestuff
3) Interact and communicate in a group setting
4) Improve listening skills by taking turns 
5) Develop an inquisitive mind by asking questions
6) Build self-confidence by speaking about something they love
8) Compare their favorite plushbuddies and cuddlestuff and discover new ones!

I have always loved plushbuddy cuddlestuff! 
I am a K-12 teacher with 20+ Years experience working with kids.
I am a Teacher of the Year with degrees from Oxford and Princeton.
I am working on my own independently published children's book.
I believe every child is special and can succeed!
I am passionate about children's education!

30 minutes for the class and a little bit of time before the class to get your favorite plushbuddy cuddlestuff ready for Show and Tell!

Bring your plushbuddy cuddlestuff friend!
Have paper and coloring pencils or crayons handy; we might get a chance to draw one of the plushbuddies that we met today!

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

25 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.

Adult supervision and guidance for my younger learners with their microphone may be necessary. However, we must follow Outschool policy, Only signed up learners should be in front of the camera. Thank you!
