Is your young learner a big fan of the shows offered on PBS Kids? Me too! From Wild Kratts to Dinosaur Train, or Nature Cat to Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood...the list of educational and entertaining shows goes on and on!

In this ongoing class, we will meet live to watch clips of episodes from current PBS Kids tv shows and discuss topics from the shows. Class is structured as a social student-led class providing both academic and fun content with the flexibility to drop in any day. This is a great class for young learners to socialize and practice life skills like listening, following directions, sharing ideas and taking turns.

Each learner in class will have the opportunity to spin the wheel and choose the show we watch as a group! After watching, learners will share facts they know or have learned from the show and participate in fun discussions about the topics and skills learned. Everyone gets a turn! 

Choice is such an important teaching element with young learners and is also an important factor that increases student motivation and engagement. Practicing social skills like being kind, polite and waiting for your turn teaches learners about important classroom behaviors. Join the fun and participate with a small group who share the same interests!
