This one-time class will cover Happy Healthy Hair and a step-by-step tutorial to create an awesome faux hawk. The bulk of the class will be dedicated to making this incredibly sleek and chic hairstyle. With my easy to follow, simple instructions your child will be able to pull off this style on their own in no time at all. Learners are encouraged to talk about their experience being natural, ask questions and share tips with the group. My philosophy when it comes to my natural hair is to keep it simple and cute and this hairstyle is both. ** Your child may need an adult's help with parting, especially in the back.

Please have hair detangled and prepared for styling. *Marley Hair Faux Hawk* - 2 bags of Marley hair (depending on how voluminous you want the faux hawk). - Rattail comb for parting - Firm hair brush for smoothing - Hair gel/NOT edge control (The hold depends on your preference. Medium to firm is best for longer lasting results) - Bobby pins (at least 20) - Hair elastics (6-10) - Desk mirror - Your favorite leave in conditioner or hair moisturizer - Hair scarf

Hi there! My name is Kimberlee and I am so excited to meet you!
I have over 15 years' experience as an educator, teacher trainer and basketball coach. I have 2 bachelor's degrees, Psychology and Advertising, and am TESOL certified. This has allowed me to live and work in many different countries around the world. I learned Spanish in Barcelona, salsa dancing in South Korea (Yep, you read that right!) and ignited my love for photography in Colombia. My experience includes working in both public and private schools. For the last year, I have been working as a private online tutor.
I'm excited of offer some fun and entertaining classes to my Outschool learners. My teaching style is upbeat and engaging. From my experience, children learn best when they are having fun. I aim to not only educate, but to have a great time along the way.
