Class Experience

Students will learn:
-What Father's Day is;
-When Father's Day 2020 is;
-Why Father's Day is important;
-What they and their classmates love about their respective fathers;
-What we can do for our dads to make them feel special on Father's Day;
-A simple, short Father's Day chant to perform for their dads on Father's Day!
I have worked with little learners for more than 10 combined years now (through both teaching and professional nannying), I am a certified teacher, and I have also worked as a substitute teacher with a concentration on K-3. I am also a mother myself!
Give your daddy a big hug and tell him that you love him!
Learners should simply show up with a smile, ready to learn, share, and discuss! I will lead the class whole-group.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Learning is assessed through smiles!
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Please be advised that we will be focused on the fathers in our lives during this class. Although I will make an important note to tell my learners that we all have many types of fathers in our lives (grandfathers, teachers, uncles, family friends, etc.), it is important to note the potentially sensitive nature of this class. If a child has an absent or deceased father, or some other type of trauma or pain associated with fathers, then this particular class may not be a favorable match.
