Students will learn/practice the phrases: Me gusta, no me gusta, me encanta, me fascina, me importa, me molesta.

A native of San Francisco, Stephanie is a dedicated academic/life coach nurturing local youth to discover their potential. Her background is varied, committed to creating lasting change to life challenges at the grassroots and systematic level in topics such as education, poverty reduction, human rights, the environment. Her work includes working as a U.S. diplomat and activist across Europe, Africa and Latin America. Wanting to make a direct change in the lives of individuals, she has taught writing, Spanish, social sciences up to the Master’s level for over nine years (ages 3 - 35 years old - yes, such a wide range of students successfully!) She has successfully learned five languages, is fluent in three and has lived in Latin America and Spain for four years. She visits family in Colombia each year. She specializes in mentoring youth to approach projects intuitively and methodologically to gain self-confidence in challenges.

Some fun facts about Stephanie: (Le encanta yoga, nadar, caminar en el campo, y hacer vela) Stephanie loves yoga, swimming, being in nature and raced single-handed sailboats from the age of 12 in the San Francisco Bay and around the country.

Homework Offered
Writing out 7-12 sentences on these phrases. This will build their skills after the class and allow them to feel more confident using the terms. It also will assist with the second course offering, Me Gusta II.
