Fast Thinking Word Games Camp

Students will play a series of 3-5 improv word and story games in each class that challenge them to think fast and develop their confidence, creativity, vocabulary, speaking, and improvisational abilities.  Each class will build on the previous class by adding more challenging games and repeating previous games for growth and development.  Some games will be individual and others are team-based.  Students are encouraged to play games outside of class time to continue to develop their skills!

We will spin a wheel to choose each game and will keep score on a team scoreboard to encourage healthy competition and strategy. (Teacher will be screen sharing.)

Class #1: Introductions, Game Guidelines, Team Introductions, Ice Breaker Games
Class #2: Introduction to Trivia Word Games
Class #3: Introduction to Story Telling Games
Class #4: Introduction to Public Speaking Games

An example of games that students will play in this class include: Barney, Thumper, Scattergories, Think Fast, Outburst, Balderdash, and 1-Minute Speeches.
