In "Fit in 10," each workout is designed to maximize impact in minimal time, making it perfect for teens with limited time. We cover essential fitness components: Cardio workouts to improve heart health and stamina. Strength training sessions to build muscle and bone density. Core exercises to enhance balance and stability. Power training to boost explosive strength and overall athleticism. The class is structured around accessibility and flexibility, allowing students to participate at their own pace and on their own schedule. Our teaching style is upbeat and motivational, using clear, engaging instructions and demonstrations to ensure that each move is performed safely and effectively.

Parental Guidance
Please note that some workouts may be intense for beginners. We recommend that students start at their own pace and consult a healthcare provider if they have any health concerns.
Parents should supervise their child to ensure that they are in a safe area and are performing the activities/movements within the workout correctly.
Supply List
Students will need access to a water bottle, an open space (a living room, backyard, etc.) and closed toed shoes. Warm up will be led by me at the beginning of class. Students are encouraged to stretch following the class. Students will also need a small ball that they can hold in 1 hand (tennis ball, bouncy ball, rubberband ball, wiffle ball, etc.). Also, they will have the option to use a resistance band that is about 3 - 5 feet long and can stretch somewhat easily.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

I currently am a credentialed teacher in Washington State and hold my endorsements in biology, health and fitness.
I am a current high school football coach and AP biology and anatomy and physiology teacher.
Last year, I taught P.E., weightlifting, health, environmental science, biology and physics to middle and high school students.
I am a former Orangetheory Fitness Coach and certified athletic trainer
I am a former college football player who was named to my university's All Decade 1st Team, 3x all conference player, and 3x academic all west region.
I hold my Master's in Secondary Education with an emphasis in fitness, life sciences and health.
I received my B.S. in Athletic Training from Whitworth University. I completed 1,250 clinical hours in physical therapy clinics, collegiate, semi-professional and high school athletic training rooms, emergency rooms and urgent cares.
