In the single course you will learn the basics of becoming a wardrobe stylist and what items you need to build your basic styling kit. I will explain what each item does, and how you will use each item on a photo shoot.

You will learn what each tool in your kit is for and how to use it on set. This will be a semi interactive class where the students will be asked to bring a shoe and masking tape so they can learn how to tape shoes, which is very important when borrowing from a PR company or store. There will be slides and I will also present each item from my own kit where I will show you how to use them. No experience needed. Students will learn how -to tape shoes -pin and create a temporary seam -use of clamps -use double sided tape -use of a lint brush -use of a mesh face cover -how to score shoes -portable steamer
Learning Goals
Students with an interest of becoming a wardrobe stylist will learn the bare bones basics of that job title. I will teach my students how to use each item in their styling kit on a photo shoot. I will utilize a dress form to demonstrate pinning and creating a temporary seam on articles of clothing.

a pair of shoes, preferably dress shoes; men's or women either will work. painters tape; you can find on amazon about 6 dollars gaffers tape; you can find on amazon about 6 dollars.

Hi i'm Kai-Lee, originally from California I live in Brooklyn, NY where I work as a stylist. So that means I work on various photo shoots and campaigns. I dress models for bridal shows and I even do personal shopping and closet organization, which is something I love to do.
Previously l have had the honor of working for Oprah Winfrey, freelancing as an assistant to her lead stylist on many photo shoots for her magazine, that was a highlight of my career.
Organizing bring me a lot of joys currently. It's a pleasure to help someone restructure their current closet and help them find new ways to wear what they already own.
Personal Shopping & Styling is another one of my passions. I believe that you can build your confidence based on how you dress.
