Description
Class Experience
The goal is to encourage designers to take creative risks that stretch their fashion aesthetic and strengthen their ability to articulate their design decisions.
I am a fashion designer & patternmaker, business consultant, and creative serial entrepreneur who has taught and mentored in many environments throughout my 25+ year career. I have taught learners of all ages about music stage performance, business, marketing, sales, YouTube, fashion design, beauty, and a host of other topics.
In week 2, students will be expected to shop for their fabric and notion. In week 3, students will put the finishing touches on the Nina skirt, collect coordinating elements, and conduct their photoshoots.
TOOLS LIST Printer Home or Professional Sewing Machine Camera Scotch or similar Tape Ruler Scissors Chalk pencil Pencil Pins Needles Tape Measure NINA SKIRT • 1 3/4 yds 59-inch cotton or poly-cotton fabric for 21.25" long skirt, 1 5/8 yds for 15.75" long skirt, and 1 1/2 yds for 11.75"long skirt • 1 yd Firm Fusible Interfacing for the waistband • Zipper 7-inch (18cm) • Matching Polyester Thread
