This 4-week workshop is a continuation of my Fashion Drawing series class with a focus on designing trendy gender-neutral looks. Each week, students will learn the techniques for drawing and rendering the below topics. After each class, students are encouraged to design their own look inspired by what we drew together and present it in our next class. Week 1: Leather Week 2: Stripes & Corduroy Week 3: Tie-Dye Week 4: Fleece To achieve the best results, I highly recommend having both markers and colored pencils. Please see supply list for more details. No prior experience or knowledge is needed, a croquis will be provided for students to use in class.
Learning Goals
Students will learn:
- how to draw and render gender-neutral looks
- to understand the relationship between these garments and the body; how they interact with each other
- to develop their own style of drawing & gain confidence through practice
