This 4-week workshop is a continuation of my Fashion Drawing series class with a focus on designing trendy gender-neutral looks. Each week, students will learn the techniques for drawing and rendering specific garments to create a full outfit. After each class, students are encouraged to design their own look inspired by what we drew together and present it in our next class. Students will learn: - how to draw and render gender-neutral looks - to understand the relationship between these garments and the body; how they interact with each other - to develop their own style of drawing & gain confidence through practice
After each class, students are encouraged to design their own garments and present it in the next class.
Students will need: - blank paper - ruler - scissors - pencil & eraser - fashion magazines (optional) - colored pencils (especially white, black, blue) - markers (especially blue) I bought a pack of 40 markers on Amazon for $14. Students will be informally accessed through sharing their sketches during class.
