Description
Class Experience
This 2-week workshop is a continuation of my Fashion Drawing series class with a focus on the upcoming holiday season. Each week, students will learn the techniques for drawing and rendering holiday-themed garment details and fabrics. After each class, students are encouraged to design their own garment and present it in our next class. Week 1: Pleats, Ruffles, and Sequins Students will learn the techniques for drawing and rendering pleats, ruffles and sequins through teacher...
Students will learn: - how to draw and render holiday type fabrics & garments - to understand the relationship between these garments and the body; how they interact with each other - to develop their own style of drawing & gain confidence through practice
After each class, students are encouraged to design their own garments and present it in the next class.
1 file available upon enrollmentStudents will need: - blank paper - ruler - pencil & eraser - colored pencils (especially white & black) - markers ** I bought a pack of 40 markers on Amazon for $14. You can find similar ones from other brands. These type of markers with two tips (a thick tip and a fine tip) are usually what we use in fashion drawing and they really do make a difference!
