There are typically two major collections that fashion designers/brands present in a year and we'll usually see them during "Fashion Week" in cities like New York, Paris, London, and Milan. This 4-week workshop is a continuation of my "Fashion Drawing: Beginner's Guide to a Strong Foundation" class. However it will focus on the Fall/Winter season where each week, students will learn the techniques for drawing and rendering fall and winter type garments. After each class, students are given a practice worksheet to refresh their memory. They will also be encouraged to design their own garment and present it in our next class. Week 1: Sweaters Students will learn the techniques for drawing and rendering a sweater through teacher demonstrations. In class, we will draw together. Week 2: Tweed Blazer Students will learn the techniques for drawing and rendering tweed through teacher demonstrations. In class we will draw and render together. Week 3: Wool Coat Students will learn the techniques for drawing and rendering a wool coat through teacher demonstrations. In class we will draw and render together. Week 4: Puffer Jacket In our last week, there will be a review of students' knowledge on everything that they've learned so far. They will learn the techniques for drawing and rendering a puffer jacket through teacher demonstrations. In class we will draw and render together. **No prior experience or knowledge is needed but I offer a class on drawing the fashion croquis which would help students if this is their first time with fashion drawing.
