Description
Class Experience
From Christian Lacroix to Sergio Hudson, learn about the life and style of a different fashion designer every week. This class will cover fashion designers from the past and present, who design womenswear, menswear, and more. We will examine some of their collections as well as what makes their designs unique to them. This is the part 2 to Fashion Designer of the Week. It's the same format, just with completely different designers so you don't have to worry about repeating! You can check...
Students will practice designing in different styles. Students will learn about fashion designers of the past. Students will learn about contemporary fashion designers.
I have been teaching fashion design for over 5 years, as well as coaching students to get into FIT for several years. Often, students don't know many fashion designers even if they love fashion, so this class aims to fill that gap so that if they decide to go into fashion, they know how to answer that question- "Who is your favorite fashion designer and why?"
