From Vivienne Westwood to Christian Siriano, learn about the life and style of a different fashion designer every week. This class will cover fashion designers from the past and present, who design womenswear, menswear, and more. We will examine some of their collections as well as what makes their designs unique to them. At the end of class, we will spend time designing like our Fashion Designer, to experiment with new techniques. This is a great class if your student loves fashion. If they ever go to college for fashion design, they will need to identify a favorite fashion designer, and this class is the perfect foundation for beginning to answer that question!
