In each fashion class, students learn how to sketch & design our own fashion styles, gaining confidence in our fashion designs while learning about fashion history & fashion trends along the way & updating the garments to our own styles.
Class experience
This class will allow students to express their love for fashion, learn new trends, fashion history and cultures, and learn to be creative through seeing different styles and time periods of clothes. Teaching Style & Class Structure: This class is lecture-based with a theme each week (such as Chinese fashion) with input from students to allow them to express their individuality. Why me? I have loved fashion since I was very young. One of my designs was even sold in London. I have over 40 years experience in fashion designing/ sketching and have taught over 2000 students online. My Nan, mum, sister, and daughters have all been involved in being very creative. You could say that sewing is in my blood and threaded through my veins. I love encouraging students to love fashion, to think for themselves, and be creative.
Pencil, colored pencils, paper, print offs of templates (given in the classroom), and eraser
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
