Do you like Project Runway or Making the Cut or Next in Fashion? I love these shows!!! So I have come up with a fun fashion design ongoing class; we will be looking at pictures of master artist paintings and using them for inspiration. I will share information about each artist background and how they created their art. I will show them examples of my own designs, pointing out how I was inspired by the same painting. I will point out how that painting inspired the silhouette, fabric print, colors and details of the design. I will also guide them with their drawings and design and will give little tips to improve them. Learning Goals
The students will be learning how real designers use inspiration to create their collections. They will learn information about each artist and they will be expanding their own creative design skills and drawing skills.

Bachelor's Degree in Music or Theatre or Arts from Florida State University
I will be teaching Fine Art classes; drawing, and painting , fashion design and fashion sketching. I have a BFA in Costume Design, and a Certificate in Fine Art from Mission Renaissance Fine Art School. I have been teaching for 20 years and creating art for 30. My classes will be fun, relaxed and positive, that is the best way to learn any subject. I have lived in 12 states and 2 countries. I look forward to seeing you in my classes!
