I am a trained artist and visual storyteller and bring historic artefacts into my art making and designs. As a qualified schoolteacher I teach with patience and clear goals in a relaxed classroom atmosphere. I love to foster curiosity about different cultures and ways of life through my art and writing classes. I taught film at university and know the film industry as a costume designer, production manager and screen writer. I am fascinated by royal myths and legends and spend many weekends exploring London's hidden corners and cultural landmarks with my family. I have invented several imagined worlds complete with costumes for kings, queens and magical beings.
