Description
Class Experience
This class is an ongoing format. Students will sketch a new design every week. Each week is charged as a subscription on Sunday mornings. Students can join or leave the series any week. Prior attendance and knowledge of the subject is not required to attend. Students will learn the tools they need to begin their artistic journey into self-expression, reflection, and creative thinking in the world of fashion illustration. Teacher Jessica is a graduating fine art artist from California State Fullerton University with her concentration in Illustration and Graphic Design. She has received professional training on figure drawing and portraiture. Her passion in theatrical and costume design and the entertainment industry in general has contributed to an innovative approach in her teaching as well as inspired many students that she met in her classes. Teacher Simone is a professional fashion and costume designer familiar with the complete product creation life cycle from initial concept to constructed design. She holds a degree in Fashion Design from The Art Institute of New York. In addition to over 10 years of teaching art and fashion, she is also experienced in staging collections in numerous Fashion Weeks including Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, New York 2013, Atlantic City Fashion Week 2014, SoHo Fashion Week, New York 2015 and Fashion Gallery, New York 2015. She gained valuable industry experience in the capacity of Creative Consultant for theaters and art schools.
