Class Experience
This is an on-going class focused on challenging students to think creatively like a fashion designer. While creativity can come naturally, it is also important to practice it regularly by training your mind to think outside the box. As a former fashion design student at Parsons, we were always encouraged to push our boundaries and at times it felt more important than learning the technical skills. Students will: - practice thinking critically and creatively - build up their confidence in designing and speaking - learn to provide constructive criticism to their peers
Students are encouraged to expand on their existing ideas from class and design additional looks.
Assessment is verbal, during students' presentations.
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
