Description
Class Experience
This class will draw one figure. The teacher will select a brand new outfit to teach for every class. There will be no repeat. Students will be encouraged to add their design elements throughout the lesson. Reference images will be posted under the "Classroom" area before the meetings. This class introduces students to basic design principles, including proportion and color. Garment and clothing details are also discussed. Students will learn basics on creating fashion sketches, anatomy and figure drawing. It is a beginner level class for students who would like to be future fashion designers, costume designers or fashion illustrators.
Teacher Jessica is a graduate fine art artist from California State Fullerton University with her concentration in Illustration and Art Education. She has received professional training on figure drawing and portraiture. Her passion in theatrical and costume design and the entertainment industry in general has contributed to an innovative approach in her teaching as well as inspired many students that she met in her classes. She promotes artistic freedom and confidence in her teaching approach while bonding with her students, creating special invaluable relationships with her lively interaction and natural charisma.
