In this self-paced course, there are 5 lessons (30-45 minutes each) to watch with also optional homework assignment(s) to provide engagement, activities, and deeper understanding including fashion sketching and illustration to create your own designs. Lessons 1-5 including the following topics: - how to draw a croquis (model silhouette) for proportions - how has fashion changed from 1900s to now - what was war time fashion like in Britain - what was Princess Diana's fashion like - what are some famous fashion designers To all students and parents: Although I give homework, please do not feel pressured that you have to do it. The biggest thing that I want you to take from this class is to have fun. Therefore, homework is optional.
Learning Goals
Students will learn to build confidence in their own designs.Look back in history and create original designs that will help students to build confidence in their fashion designing.

Parental Guidance
We will watch a YouTube video on how to draw a croquis. I will share the croquis video in the classroom for students to practice drawing a croquis. They do not need to have a YouTube account. This is optional to look at and review with after class.
