In this ongoing class the students will design a new garment each week using the mystery challenge as their guide.
Class experience
This is a fun, engaging and creative way to learn how to think outside the box and create exciting fashion. Each class the students will choose Mystery Challenge #1 or Mystery Challenge #2. The challenges will be to design a certain garment with a custom fabric and embellishments. I will explain and show photos of each garment, fabrics and embellishments. Students will
develop: following instruction skills, focusing skills, drawing skills
learn: to relax while learning, have fun, engage creativity, learn fashion terminology
The result of all this is building self-confidence. paper, pencil, eraser, colored pencils, scissors and card stock if available optional: watercolor, pastels, markers and glue
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
