Fashion Design and Drawing Camp: Exploring Different Silhouettes.
In this four day, one hour fashion design class we will explore and design four different silhouettes.
Do you like Project Runway or Making the Cut or Next in Fashion? I love these shows!!! So I have come up with a fun fashion design camp; we will explore four different silhouettes and then you will create a design using that silhouette. We will meet four days in a row for an hour class. I will define what a silhouette is and the importance of it. I will give plenty of examples so the students will have a good understanding of the silhouette of the day. They will then create their own design...
The students will be learning how volume or the lack of it changes a design. They will also learn about the practicality of the garment; it needs to be wearable. They will be expanding their creative design skills and drawing skills.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
