Fascinating Creatures Big and Small

I am an experienced educator with a strong background in teaching young learners in both classroom and online settings. I currently work at Union County Elementary School in Georgia, specifically in the Head Start program, where I teach foundational skills to young children, fostering curiosity and a love for learning. Additionally, I have designed and taught various online courses for children ages 5–9, including interactive science and literacy-based classes on Outschool.

My experience includes teaching early childhood science, incorporating hands-on learning and interactive discussions about animals, nature, and the environment. I have also developed lesson plans aligned with Georgia state standards for kindergarten and early elementary students, covering topics in life sciences, earth sciences, and reading comprehension.

Beyond formal teaching, I have a deep passion for wildlife education and have created engaging lessons on animals, habitats, and conservation. I integrate storytelling, games, videos, and movement activities to make learning fun and interactive. My goal is to spark curiosity and encourage young learners to explore the amazing world of animals in an engaging and meaningful way!
