Uganda is a bird lovers paradise due to being home to over 1,000 different species of interesting birds! This interactive FLEX class will cover some of the most interesting and unique bird species of Uganda. This is a highly interactive flexible schedule class. There will be a lesson video posted each week which can be watched whenever is convenient for the student. These video lessons will have a minimum of 8 birds in each lesson (total of 32 birds, over a period of 4 weeks). During the videos, there will be fun pop up activities to keep the video interactive and allow the students to be engaged in learning. The students will not only learn about the birds themselves, but they will also learn about subjects such as endangered, extinct, vulnerable, habitat loss, conservation, climate, camouflage, etc. On our classroom page, there will be a flow of discussion questions and activities that the students will be able to participate in.
