Fascinating Animals of the World! (Ongoing)

US Grade 2 - 5
This is a series of live classes where students will be able to learn about interesting animals all around the world (that perhaps they have never heard of previously!). The types of animals that we will focus on are: birds, reptiles, fish, mammals, and amphibians. Each week has 8 animals that will be taught (they can be from any or all of the categories above). There are eight lessons for this series. The lessons can be joined at anytime, and we will be rotating back to the first lesson when...
- Students will be able to... -define mammal, bird, reptile, amphibian, and fish. -know a variety of terms such as, endangered, functionally extinct, extinct, camouflage, conservation, deforestation, etc. -know about many mammals all over the world.

When defining a mammal, we mention that typically mammals have live young and do not lay eggs (except for a few exceptions). I do not go into further detail about this. I do not talk about mating. If a student does, due to the ages, I will kindly try to change the subject.
