I was born, raised and still live on a farm. My dad came from a long line of farmers. He raised cattle and grew crops such as soybeans and corn. My husband and I live on a farm and raise quarter horses. We do help our neighbors our by taking care of their bottle calves if something happens to the mother.
The students will be assigned reading articles and printable books, trivia questions plus discussion questions.
I will provide all the printable materials. Most materials can be read on the computer or ipad but the students may print it out for easier reading. I will also provide links to the videos and trivia games.

There will be some sensitive topics. I will not show or talk about the process of butchering but talk more about the caring for the animals plus the cuts of meat from each animal. Also, food labels may be a sensitive topic. I will talk about it from the farming perspective.
