In this engaging one time class, learners will have fun learning about the farm with a circle time show and share, reading a book, drawing a picture, practicing their letters, singing, and counting.

Description
Class Experience
If you love the farm, this is the class for you! Learners can bring a farm toy to class so that share their favorite farm animal with others. Learners will begin class with a fun song featuring their favorite farm animals to engage them! We will read a story about farm animals who have a problem called, "Click Clack Moo Cows That Type " by Doreen Cronin. Learners will be encouraged to share connections, ask questions, and make predictions about the story. After the story, learners will...
Learners will practice their social skills by talking with friends and taking turns listening and speaking. Learners will practice counting skills and one to one correspondence. Learners will practice singing and rhyming. Learners will practice recognizing the letter "f" and the sound that goes with f. This builds knowledge of phonics. Learners will practice their creativity and fine motor skills by drawing.
No homework is required.
Learners will need paper and art supplies, such as pencils, colored pencils, crayons, or markers. Learners may chose to bring a farm animal picture or toy to class to share at the beginning.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No assessments.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
No parental guidance is needed.
