Class Experience

In this class, learners will practice reading 10 sight words (you, do, I, what, see, the, like, not, yes, no) They will also practice reading and spelling pig and cow.  The sentences are short and repetitive so learners can become familiar with the pattern of the words as they learn to read.  In this slideshow type class, there are activities to do throughout the lesson such as listening, reading, speaking, and writing.   As time allows, we will play a game with the words that were learned....

This class is taught in English.

By the end of the class, the student will have seen many images of pigs and cows and know how to spell these 2 words along with 10 Dolch sight words: you, do, I, what, see, the, like, not, yes, no.

I am a TEFL certified teacher.   I have been teaching English online to children ages 4-12 for more than 2 years.  I also hold a Bachelor's of Science degree with a focus on animals.

 There are 2 worksheets to print and can be completed after class for extended learning.

  1 file available upon enrollmentPlease bring a pencil and paper.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
