Description
Class Experience
I have lived on a small farm and been raising goats for over 8 years now. I also teach youth at our local 4H groups about different livestock and agriculture for the last 6 years.
Students will need to watch the video each week and fill out the worksheets during the lesson. After the video students will need to complete the Kahoot quiz. Students are encouraged to share pictures of their work (either privately with the teacher or in the classroom).
Students will need access to a printer to print off worksheets for each week. Paper and pencils to create their drawings.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
No live meetings, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
As we are discussing animals in a farm setting there will be discussion about animals being butchered for food. This will not be an in-depth conversation but using animals for meat will be part of some of the weeks.
