Join me at my farm where students will learn fun facts about farm animals, learn how to draw them and make a craft. Each lesson will have 5 tasks that can be done one a day or more than one a day, what ever works best for your students! Each week will focus on one farm animal. -Students will watch a video where we will go over basic facts, learn body parts and how these animals are cared for. -They will complete worksheets, make a life cycle book, and learn how to draw the animal. -Last students will watch a video with step by step instructions on how to make a craft that goes along with the animal for that lesson. Other Details
Parental Guidance
Scissors, glue, stapler and markers will be used when making the craft and life cycle book. Younger students may need parent assistance with creating the craft if these tools are hard for them to use independently.
Supply List
All lessons will need white paper, pencil, stapler and coloring tools (crayons, colored pencils or markers work) Each lessons supplies for the craft are listed below Week 1: Empty toilet paper roll, yellow paint, black yarn, 2 googly eyes, black marker, white and pink paper, glue stick and liquid glue, tape. Week 2: Brown paper, 3 popsicle sticks painted or colored brown, 1 googly eye, yarn (white, brown or black will work), black marker. Week 3: Black paper, another colored paper that isn’t black or white, white paint, 2 googly eyes, glue. Week 4: Brown and green paper or yellow paper (yellow is for making a duckling), and orange paper, 1 googly eye and glue. Week 5: Black and brown paper, brown yarn, glue and marker.
