Farm Animal Escape Room: 7-10 Year-Olds
In this fun 1 time class, learners will learn about farm animals while escaping the locked barn. Learners will practice math, directions, ordering, spell, and critical thinking skills while trying to escape the barn.

The class has gone on a field trip to a farm and has gotten locked in the barn! You have to unlock the barn door so you can help the farmer round up all the animals and get to the farm dance on time. Learners will solve puzzles, use clues, and critical thinking skills to unlock the door. This one time virtual escape room class will help learners practice math, problem solving, directions, and critical thinking skills. The class is designed for learners to succeed no matter their level. I will be right there with them throughout the whole class, helping them with clues, reading questions, and solving puzzles. We will begin class with welcomes and introductions. We will talk a little about farm animals to activate background knowledge. The class is scheduled for 30 minutes but may run over depending on the engagement of the learners. This escape room is designed by me and is unique, entertaining, and designed especially for 7-10 year-olds to practice some of the essential skills needed for critical thinking and problem solving. All learners are welcome! However, I do ask that only the enrolled learner be on camera. Parents, guardians, siblings, etc. are welcome to sit near in case learners need assistance but I do ask they not be on camera with the learner. The escape room was designed using Google Slides and Google Form. I will share the link for the escape room in our classroom. I will monitor and guide students as they go through the clues and puzzles. No third-party accounts are required for this escape room.
