Description
Class Experience
Under the pen name of Cleave Bourbon, I have completed and published 9 fantasy novels and I have three more in development. I have been teaching English in both public high school (English 1-4) and online for over 15 years. I have also earned a B.A in English and Culture and a M.A. in English and Literature.
This class will contain quite a bit of writing both in class and outside of class.
Pencils, paper for map drawing.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
In order to use the free map making software, Inkarnate, a parent will have to sign up to log in unless the learner is 13 years of age or older. Inkarnate also has a subscription based model but the free version is fine for the class. In order to use the map making software, Wonderdraft, a parent will have to purchase the software for $29.99. The free version of Inkarnate is fine to use in the class and Wonderdraft is completely optional.
We will use the free software Inkarnate for a few of the classes. Wonderdraft is also a great map making software but it costs $29.99 one time to own it. I am not affiliated with either software.
