US Grade 3 - 6
In this one time class we will be learning all about Trilobites, some of the earliest animals. We will discuss where, when and how they lived, what other animals they lived with, what they ate, and what kind of prehistoric animal it was. We will also be learning about how this amazing animal, and the ecosystem around it, changed over millions of years and how we know so much about them. This class part of a series of classes on fossils and ancient animals adapted to be one time versions of my Dinosaur of the Week classes. No experience, knowledge, or previous classes are required for this course, but a love of prehistoric creatures is encouraged, and my other classes on rocks, fossils, and dinosaurs may provide further background.
Learning Goals
Students will learn about Trilobites, the different types, how and when they lived, and how they evolved over time.
