✈️ ✈️ ✈️ Does your child get excited every time an airplane flies by or comes on TV? Do they love to watch out the window during a flight and crave more information about airplanes? Then go no further, this is the class for them! During this one-time class the teacher (Naval Aviation veteran & certified teacher) will introduce the students to the world of aviation by discussing a bit of aviation history, watching cool flight video clips, learning some aviation specific words, learning about the different sectors of aviation, and the many types of flying machines. I love when the students join in the conversation and share their passion for aviation with the group, so I encourage lots of participation. ⭐️ Please Note: this class is for complete beginners. Students with some aviation knowledge should look into my other classes. 👩✈️ See You in the Sky! Capt. A 👩✈️
Learning Goals
Students will gain an understanding of some basic aviation facts and vocabulary.

🤩Welcome to the Joy Factory! 🤩
I believe that all students learn best when they are enjoying themselves in the process, that’s why I call my “classroom” the joy factory, because I aim to create joyful learning experiences for all students.
I have found, through my 10 + years of teaching, that any of the core academic skills taught in school (reading, writing, math) can be taught with greater success (and joy) through topics of interest to the student. It can be even more joyful when the teacher is passionate about the subject. This is why I am so excited to be offering classes about aviation, science, and nature - all things that I have loved since childhood, as well as the traditional reading and writing classes but with a fun approach.
So, if your child loves any of these things too, take a peek at my classes and come join us for a joyful learning experience. I can't wait to meet you!
