Description

Class Experience

Students will orally retell a classic Aesop Fable.
Students will complete a drawing of the Fable, and optionally complete the copywork.
Students will analyze the moral of the fable and discuss how it may or may not apply to themselves.
As a Charlotte Mason inspired homeschooling parent, I enjoy introducing children to classic literature, like Aesop's Fables.
The teacher will provide a worksheet with a space to draw the characters and copywork to optionally complete. Students should bring a print out of the worksheet and provide a pencil and drawing/coloring media of their choice (colored pencils, crayons, markers, etc).
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Aesop's Fables may include some references to violence and/or the injury or death of some characters.
