Welcome to the Fandom Social Club for Artists! In this ongoing club, students will be given the opportunity to share and socialize with other learners that have similar interests, while sharing their drawings, artwork, stories, and more. Depending on learner's shared interests, we will discuss our favorite TV shows, books, Youtubers, games, and more while learning to improve our drawing skills and working on developing our own personal art styles. The course of this class will depend on the learner's personal interests, allowing the students to choose what drawing techniques we learn. Students are very encouraged to chat with each other during class! Each class meeting will be dictated by the learner's interests, each learner will have an opportunity to share and talk about something that they love. This is a SOCIAL DRAWING CLUB: Students will be encouraged to chat with each other while learning new art techniques. DRAWING TOPICS WILL INCLUDE: Original Characters Anime Muscle Anatomy Nintendo Popular Movies and Show Art Designing Creatures Pokemon Youtubers Game Art Among Us Demon Slayer Pose Studies One Piece Legend of Zelda ...and more! ***CLASS SCHEDULE*** NOTE: This class meets for a total of THREE hours, so bring a snack if you would like! Hello! My name is Michelina Leonard, but I go by Ms. Mickey in my classes!
I'm a digital illustrator and designer, known best for my love of animals and how they inspire my work. Raised in Pennsylvania, I live in the country with my menagerie of parrots, goats, chickens, and cats. I have a college education in digital art and have professional work experience in the field, including graphic/logo design, children's book illustration, novel cover design, studio painting, 2D animation, and more.
My most popular classes are my Warrior Cat's Clubs, where learners get to enjoy connecting with other fans of the book series, learning art techniques, sharing their creative work, and role-playing with their 'clan'. I teach traditional basic drawing techniques, along with digital art and animation. Most importantly, though, students get to share their characters and showcase their artwork!
Drawing "battle cats" isn't my only topic of interest, though! I also have a Dragon Drawing Club (for Wings of Fire fans), an Original Character Club, where we draw and discuss ALL types of OCs!
I like to keep my classes social and interactive! I structure my classes in a way that fosters a community within the group, and I am driven to ensure that every student feels valued and welcomed in the classroom. My favorite part is that learners get to connect and inspire each other to improve, rather than just listening to me give a weekly lecture. The artwork skill improvement that I've seen in many of my students within this group enviroment has been astronomical and a joy to witness!
I hope to see your learners in my classes!
