Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi there! My name is Julie and I have had several years teaching elementary school and also had the opportunity to be a preschool director at our church for several years. I have two children, ages 8 & 5, who keep me busy! I have a huge passion for teaching preschool early learning skills so that children can be successful entering into Kindergarten or First Grade. I enjoy reading to children and integrating interactive stories into math, phonic and phonemic awareness skills. I also believe stories and circle/calendar time is an integral part of a child's learning that cover a multitude of skills when taught with a purpose. I will be teaching weekly calendar time and frequent story times that go along with a craft.
