Fancy Nancy Tea Party and Read Aloud: Words and Antonyms!
In this class, students will enjoy a virtual tea party while I read a Fancy Nancy story. We will explore pre-writing/storytelling skills by studying vocabulary words, synonyms, and word choice.

Description
Class Experience
"Enchante!" (That's French for "Pleased to meet you!") I hope you join me for tea and a read-aloud in this one-time class. Bring your favorite drink in your favorite cup, whatever you "fancy!" You are welcomed to wear your fanciest, fun clothes to class too! Teacher will also dress up and bring her tea cup! We will read "Fancy Nancy: Budding Ballerina" by Jane O'Connor and explore vocabulary words and antonyms! We will make note of certain words throughout the reading, then go back and...
Students will be introduced to pre-writing/storytelling skills with focus on: vocabulary words and antonyms.
35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
