Students will first be prompted to have a discussion about apples. The teacher will ask "Do you like apples?", "What color apples are your favorite?", "Have you ever gone apple picking?", "Have you ever baked with apples?" The teacher will then explain that they will be listening to a Fancy Nancy story called "Apples Galore". In this story, Fancy Nancy goes on a class trip to an apple orchard. Following the read aloud, students will learn some basic facts about apples, including the apple life cycle, through short video clips and readings.
