Optional experiments and activities relating to the scientists each week. I highly encourage students to participate if possible.
Week 1 - clear glass full of water, straw OR pencil
Week 2 - flour tortilla, peanut butter, banana (if students have food allergies feel free to substitute ingredients or another snack)
Week 3 - ruler, string, paper clips (about 10)
Week 4 - crayons
Week 5 - sheet of craft foam, ball point pen, stamp pad/ink
Week 6 - 1 piece of construction paper, 3 pieces white paper, stapler, glue stick
Week 7 - handouts provided
Week 8 - Lego car or matchbox car, balloon, straw, masking tape
Week 9 - handouts for review  

We will use a Kahoot game each week to review. Students can use the Kahoot app downloaded to a phone or tablet or just go to kahoot.it in a web browser with a parents help to play the game. Students will always have the option of playing on a team with the teacher instead of signing into the game.
