Come along as we learn about four amazing inventors! In this four day camp we will learn about Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Edison, Leonardo da Vinci, and Galileo. In each class we will explore each inventor's early life, learn about some of their inventions and complete a short drawing/writing activity based on our discussion. I will provide a Canva presentation that will include interesting facts, pictures, short videos, and lots of engaging conversation! At the end of class, students can...
Students will learn about four inventors, their early lives and some of their inventions.
I am a Pennsylvania state-certified educator with a Master's Degree in Elementary Education.
4 files available upon enrollmentPlease bring a pencil, class handouts or plain paper to complete class activities. You many also bring crayons or markers if you would like to color your drawings.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Learner progress will be monitored through fun and informal "quiz questions" that the class answers together as we progress through the lesson. At the end of each lesson learners are also welcome to share a new fact that they discovered in class.
2 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
